libhackrf-dev software package provides Software defined radio peripheral, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhackrf-dev
libhackrf-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhackrf-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhackrf-dev *
You will get with libhackrf-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
